Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund

The Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV) ist the passenger transport executive in the Region Karlsruhe and beyond. The KVV is worldwide known because of the Karlsruher Modell with Tram-trains.

Owner
The partners of the “Karlsruher Verkehrsverund GmbH (KVV)” are local governments of the Landkreis Karlsruhe, the Landkreis Rastatt, the city of Baden-Baden, the city of Karlsruhe and in the Palatinate the Landkreis Südliche Weinstraße, the Landkreis Germersheim, and the City of Landau.
Operators
The trams and trains for the KVV are operated by Deutsche Bahn, VBK - Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe GmbH and Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft mbH (AVG). The busses are run by several companies:
