Stadtwerke Karlsruhe is the public utility company for Karlsruhe and delivers electricity, district heating, natural gas and drinking water.

Profile
As well as the traditional supply of electricity, drinking water and environmentally friendly natural gas and district heating, the Stadtwerke also offer customers various heating and cooling systems. They advise the industrial and commercial customers about every aspect of energy supply. Contracting, consulting and telecommunication are areas that have allowed Stadtwerke to change from a conventional, to a commercially orientated supply enterprise.
Over 1,000 co-workers work for Stadtwerke Karlsruhe, it is owned by KVVH (70%), EnBW (20%) and Thuga AG; a sister company of the E.ON Ruhrgas AG.[1]
