Supreme court

In Germany there are five supreme courts.
Two of them, the Bundesverfassungsgericht and the Bundesgerichtshof, are located in the city of Karlsruhe.

Common Senate
The five supreme courts have a “Common Senate of the Federal Supreme Courts of Justice” (German: Gemeinsamer Senat der Obersten Gerichtshöfe[1]).
Federal Prosecutor General
The Federal Prosecutor General (German: Generalbundesanwalt[1]) is representing the Federal Republic of Germany at the Bundesgerichtshof. Since 2006 Federal Prosecutoress General Monika Harms is in office.
