The Botanischer Garten Karlsruhe is a botanical garden with mediterranean flair and an Orangerie near the Schloss Karlsruhe.
History
Grand Duke Karl Friedrich had the botanist Gmelin lay out the botanical garden. A chain of plant-display houses from the winter garden (built from 1853 - 50) by Heinrich Hübsch), were half restored in 1970.
