The Deutsch-Englischer Freundeskreis (short: DEF) is a non-profit organisation to support the friendship between the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and Germany, it's based in Karlsruhe.

It offers events like talks, round tables, Christmas Carol Singing and their traditional Pancake Race on the Marktplatz Karlsruhe.
