Karstadt

Building
The Karstadt Department Store was built from 1912 to 1914 on behalf on the Knopf siblings, following plans by Wilhelm Kreis in the neoclassical style of the time before the first world war. The extension, completed in the early 1990's, fits in harmoniously with the surrounding buildings.
