Mühlburg

Mühlburg is a district of the city of Karlsruhe since 1886.

History
Mühlburg is mentioned back in 1248 as “Mulenberc”.
In 1670 Mühlburg received city rights.
Carl Benz was born in Mühlburg 1844.
In 1886 the city of Mühlburg was incorporated into Karlsruhe.
Today the harbour Rheinhafen at the river Rhine belongs to Mühlburg.
